SENIOR CONSULTANT - LONDON BASED MANAGEMENT CONSULTANCY
The Position
The position is “ Senior Consultant”. The position will focus on supplying high quality consultancy, value to clients and involvement in the development of a growing management consultancy through its business vision.
- Development of the management consultancy business through mentoring of consultants, developing intellectual assets and managing clients from initial prospect through to regular client care activities.
- Being part of a dynamic team of individuals who are making a difference to the growing number of clients.
Specialist Skills & Experience
The following is a guide to the skills, experience and qualities required for the position:
1. Over 10 years experience in at least one, preferably two of the following disciplines:
- Management Consultancy
- Project and Programme Management
- Change Management
- Technology Management
- Business Analysis
- Business Process Management
- Senior Operational Business Management
- Senior Level Team Management
2. Enthusiastic individual who is highly self-motivated to deliver quality and value to clients.
3. A proven history of quality, excellence and delivery in their relevant field.
4. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
5. Coaching and mentoring skills with ability to influence, motivate and develop those around them.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible:
To clients:
- Providing excellent consultancy, management and advice.
- Understanding and delivering value.
- Utilising and enhancing the Knowledge base to ensure clients always receive the quality consultancy they expect.
To the consultancy:
- Line Management responsibility of Consultants including coaching, mentoring, support and staff development.
- Business development activities including prospecting and account management meetings.
- Internal sponsorship of operational workstreams such as marketing, recruitment, compliance.
- Contribution to the on-going development and execution of a strategic business plan
- Attend and contribute to regular management team meetings
- Actively identify and address risks and issues that threaten the successful operation of the organisation in reaching its targets
