
AREA SALES MANAGER - NORTH WEST ENGLAND

Due to the continued growth and to support expansion, Bürkert GB are looking to recruit an Area Sales Manager.
Working from your home base you will be responsible for identifying, presenting to and converting potential You will leverage key competitive advantages to drive sales of products and systems and to retain customers.
The ideal candidate will have experience of control systems and instrumentation within the process industry and have an engineering degree.
You will need to demonstrate you are a motivated and focused sales person with a strong desire to succeed. You will have strong commercial knowledge and awareness and will be responsible for the sales and marketing activities of Bürkert products within a defined geographical area.
In this largely customer-facing role you will develop, service and support existing customers whilst achieving profitable sales growth for the area through securing new customers. You will work to optimise distribution and liaise with in-house Engineering and Systems teams to support and serve your area in the implementation of application solutions and systems. Your role will be very much hands-on and you will provide technical and commercial support to customers and colleagues where appropriate. You will be involved with the preparation of quotations, annual contracts and project bids.
